Heather Gordon

Heather Gordon, CPA, MBA 

As a member of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy's Peer Review Oversight Advisory Committee, Heather advises the Board of Accountancy on matters relating to the peer review program for CPA firms. The peer review program's goal is to promote and enhance quality in the accounting and auditing services provided by CPA firms. At Ullmann & Company, she specializes in managing audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of industries and advises both individual and business clients in accounting and tax matters.

She has particular experience with the following industries: privately owned water and wastewater utilities, service, healthcare, construction contractors, and manufacturing. She also has significant experience working with small nonprofit organizations, specializing in the accounting and compliance needs for Arizona school tuition organizations that provide tax credit scholarships to private school K-12 students. Although she is a Phoenix native, she started her career at the California State Auditor’s Office, including working on the financial statement audit for the State of California.

Heather’s educational background consists of a Master of Business Administration, with distinction, from California State University, Chico. She also earned a Bachelor of Accountancy from University of San Diego, graduating summa cum laude. She currently volunteers her time as Treasurer of Horses Help, a non-profit premier accredited therapeutic riding center in Cave Creek, AZ. She previously volunteered her time for other local networking and service organizations.
